The purpose of TSAG is to promote Tamil cultural awareness and act as an outlet for the Tamil students, faculty and others connected with the University of Guelph with regards to the Tamil culture. The Association will endeavor to act as a social and academic aid to Tamil students and to those that wish exposure to the Tamil culture. TSAG will act in a positive form to bring greater awareness within and outside the Tamil Community. Tolerance, adaptability and foremost the preservation of the Tamil culture shall be the goal of the TSAG. As TSAGs goal is to promote and act as an outlet for the Tamil culture, the moment it steps out of its intended goals it no longer adheres by this constitution.

இன்று சிங்கப்பூர்த் தேசிய பல்கலைக்கழகத் தமிழ் பேரவை என வழங்கப்படும் அமைப்பு 1975 ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் மாதம் முன்னணித் தமிழ் எழுத்தாளரான அகிலன் அவர்கள் சிங்கப்பூருக்கு வந்திருந்த போது தான் துவக்கம் கண்டது. அப்போது பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் மாணவர்களாக இருந்த வீரமணி, திரு.சாமி,திரு.ராஜகோபால் ஆகியோர் அகிலனை பல்கலைக்கழகத்திற்கு வரவழைத்துக் கௌரவிக்க விழைந்தனர். ஆனால் அதை முறைப்படி செய்யக்கூடிய சங்கமோ அமைப்போ பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இல்லை. ஆகவே, முனைவர் வீரமணியும் அவர் தோழர்களும், தங்கள் சொந்த முயற்சியில் எழுத்தாளர் அகிலனை வரவேற்று உபசரிக்கவும் அவருடன் சிங்கப்பூர் தமிழ் இலக்கியம் தொடர்பாகக் கலந்துரையாடவும் ஒரு தேநீர் விடுதிக்கு ஏற்பாடு செய்தனர். சிறப்பாக நடந்தேறியே இந்நிகழ்வுக்கு பின்னர் தான் தமிழ் மொழியின் வளர்ச்சிக்குப் பணியாற்றக்கூடிய ஓர் அமைப்பைப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் நிறுவுவதற்கான முயற்சிகள் தொடங்கின.

சிங்கப்பூரில் இரு மொழித் திறனை வளர்க்கவும், தமிழ் இலக்கிய வளர்ச்சிக்கு துணைபுரியவும் நம் நாட்டின் அதிகாரபூர்வ மொழிகளில் ஒன்றாக அரசமைப்புச் சட்டத்தில் உறுதி செய்யப்பட்ட தமிழ் மொழியின் மேம்பாட்டுக்கு பங்காற்றவும் சிங்கபூர்ப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் தமிழ் மொழி அமைப்பு ஒன்று நிறுவப்பட வேண்டும் என்று பலராலும் முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டது. சிங்கபூர்ப் பல்கலைக்கழகத் தமிழ் மன்றம் தன் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் யாவும் சாதனைகளாகத் திகழவேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கத்தில் செயல்படத் தொடங்கியது. மன்றம் அன்று தொடங்கிய சிங்கப்பூரில் தமிழ் மொழி இலக்கியம் ஆகியவற்றை மையமாக கொண்ட கருத்தரங்கை நடத்துதல் ‘தமிழ் பேரவை’ என்னும் பதிப்பை ஆண்டுதோறும் வெளியிடுதல் பல்கலைக்கழகப் புகுமுக வகுப்பு மாணவர்களுக்கான துணைப்பாட வகுப்புகள் நடத்துதல் போன்ற நடவடிக்கைகளை இன்றளவும் சிங்கப்பூர்த் தேசிய பல்கலைக்கழகத் தமிழ் பேரவை சீரிய முறையில் தொடர்ந்து செய்து வருகிறது.

Tamil Cultural Association of North Carolina (TCANC) is a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of providing the platform to express and appreciate the deep and rich tradition of the Indian sub-continent for the residents of the greater triangle area encompassing the cities of Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham, Cary, Apex, Morrisville and Greensboro. The Tamil Sangam Uganda was founded in 12/12/2004 by tamil people who are living in Uganda. The sangam was registered in 2005 March. There are currently have over 300 members.
Tamil sangam uganda was founded in order to promote Tamil culture,create awareness of our tamil culture and heritage among the youth and children in uganda. Also Celebrate festivals, providing relief funds and charity to the local ugandans and promotes sports skills of youth.

கனடா – காரை கலாசார மன்றம்

காரைநகருக்கு சிறப்புத்தரும் அம்சங்களில் முதல் அம்சம் ஈழத்துச்சிதம்பரம் என அழைக்கப்படும் காரைநகர் சிவன் கோவில் ஆகும். காரைநகர் மக்கள் எங்கு வாழ்ந்தாலும் இவ்வாலயத்தில் அக்கறை உள்ளவர்களாக இருப்பர். அந்தவகையில், 1989 ஆண்டு காலப்பகுதியில் கனடாவிற்கு புலம் பெயர்ந்திருந்த, சமயப்பற்றும், தமிழ்ப்பற்றும் மிக்க காரைநகர் பெருமக்களால் “ஈழத்துச்சிதம்பரம் திருத்தொண்டர் சங்கம், கனடா” என்ற அமைப்பு ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது. காலப்போக்கில், கனடாவிற்கு புலம்பெயர்ந்த காரை மக்களின் தொகையும் அதிகரிக்க இதன் பணிகளையும் விஸ்தரிக்க வேண்டிய தேவை ஏற்பட்டது. இதனால் இச்சங்கம் 1994ம் ஆண்டு கனடா – காரை கலாசார மன்றம் எனப்பெயர் மாற்றம் பெற்றதுடன் அதன் பணிகளையும் விஸ்தரித்து வருகிறது.

கனடா-காரை கலாசார மன்றம் என்பது கனடாவில் வசிக்கும் காரைநகர் மக்களைப் பிரதிநிதித்துவப் படுத்தும், இலாப நோக்கமற்ற ஒரு சமூக அமைப்பாகச் செயற்பட்டு வருகின்றது.. கனடாவில் வசிக்கும், காரைநகருடன் தொடர்புடைய, 18 வயதிற்கு மேற்பட்ட எவரும் இம்மன்றத்தில் அங்கத்தவராக இணைந்து கொள்ள முடியும். இம்மன்றம் பல்வேறு சமூக, கலை, கலாசார, மனிதநேய மற்றும் ஆன்மீகப் பணிகளை கனடாவிலும், காரைநகரிலும் ஆற்றுவதோடு தாயக உறவுகளுக்கு உதவும் மனித நேயப் பணிகளிலும் பங்காற்றி வருகிறது.
